2.5 Version update notice

On startup the app calls GitLab (the Releases API of momo-cooperation/team/sre/momo-cogwork, reusing the token configured for the GitLab tab) and compares it with the embedded version (internal/buildinfo.Version):

  • Update available → the status bar shows a dismissible notice bar and the Settings "About" tab shows the details; clicking the bar opens the browser at the Release download page.
  • Already latest / lookup failed (not configured, no network, no Release published yet) → completely silent: nothing shown, no error.

Steps to publish a new version (see "Distribution & 發布新版本" in the momo-cogwork project CLAUDE.md): bump the version → pixi run build → git tag vX.Y.Z && git push origin vX.Y.Z → create the Release on GitLab and attach the exe.
